Art Deco Style Dining Suite - 9 Pieces
Magnificent crotch mahogany veneer dining table suite in high gloss finish, custom handcrafted in Peru. The ensemble comprises a table, two benches & six chairs, accommodating ten people comfortably. The tabletop features a rectangular glass inset that lets the viewer see the medallion on the base below. The glass inset's gold gilt design is placed on the underside so it will not be damaged when cleaning the glass. The seating is upholstered in a subtly striped pale green textile with a floral pattern. The back of the chairs and benches is finished in the same crotch mahogany veneer, matching the table. Crotch mahogany is also called flame mahogany. The flame pattern is revealed when a trunk or heavy branch with two forking branches is cut through its center—a true masterpiece.
